Heart-breaking moment injured cat appears to WEEP at the vets after being rescued

This heart-breaking footage shows a feline appearing to cry real tears after it was rescued and taken to the vets.

Very little information has been provided alongside the video and both the location and the reason as to why the cat needed rescuing is unknown.

The video shows the animal resting on a table at the vets after it was presumably taken in by the concerned people who discovered it in need of help.

It has a breathing tube inserted in its nose and looks slightly worse for wear, despite the fact it is now in very safe hands.

Spilling from its eyes are visible tears, which roll down the feline's face and splash on the table in which it rests upon.

It appears that the distressed and possibly injured cat is crying at its own sorry state of affairs.

Like humans cats are able to cry real tears but unlike us it is unclear as to whether they do so for emotional reasons, as suggested in the clip.

Instead felines may shed a tear or two if they are suffering from an allergy or an eye irritation.

But while there is no evidence to suggest the cat is feeling emotional, there is, rather unfortunately, plenty to suggest that this feline is under the weather.
